Media & Marketing Responsibilities – Join US!

OVERVIEW:

A project’s image is what matters the most, and it’s our responsibility as the media and marketing team to make sure that the image is well-delivered; ensuring that our team work doesn’t go to waste, and to make sure that the message of our initiative reaches the most amount of people possible. 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A) Photographer/Videographer: Responsible for the media coverage of the initiative’s events, campaigns, meetings and interviews. 

B) Designer: Responsible for the designs featured on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram … etc.) and printable for the initiative events. 

C) Photo/Video editor: Responsible for editing the material (photos, videos … etc.) that result from the initiative events. 

D) Social Media Manager: Responsible for the posts content on social media platforms, replying to comments/messages & monitoring reports and analysis.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

In order to apply for a position you should have the following set of essential skills.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: These skills are a must for all the positions.

1) Time management skills.

2) Ability to work under stress.

3) Ability to work in a time crunch.

4) Basic team-working skills.

5) Creativity.

6) Sticking to deadlines.

 

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

A more specified set of skills for each position.

 

A) Photographer/Videographer:

a. Experience in photography/videography depending on which position is applied for.

b. Basic academic knowledge regarding either field.

c. Owning a camera is recommended.

d. Basic knowledge about working with audio (videographers).

 

B) Designer:

a. Experience in designing.

b. Ability to work with mainstream software (Photoshop, Illustrator… etc.)

c. Basic Academic knowledge regarding the field.

 

C) Photo/Video Editor:

a. Experience in editing photos/videos depending on which position is applied for.

b. Ability to work with mainstream software (Premiere Pro… etc.)

c. Basic Academic knowledge regarding the field.

 

D) Social-Media manager:

a. Experience in managing social-platforms.

b. Good writing skills in Arabic or English (having both is preferred).

c. Basic knowledge about digital marketing and/or SEOS.

d. Basic Academic knowledge regarding the field.
